A video game is a computer program played electronically through the use of computer desktops, gaming consoles, tablets, and even mobile phones. Most gamers play to distract themselves from a long period of waiting. Others play for cash and honour, by joining local tournaments and global e-games competitions. To sum it all up, like any other games video games are intended to entertain people.

There are several benefits in playing video games. It improves a person's reaction time, rational thinking, logical thinking, creativity, and so much more. E-gaming is also a way to exercise your brain. Studies support that gamers do improve one's problem solving skills, which can be an advantage in the real world.

Motivation also plays a huge part in gaming technology. Everyone wants to be good at something, and playing is their way of rousing their motivational needs. Video games give immediate response on how well you are doing. Medals, scores, points, game achievements and trophies serves as a quick feedback which can make a person feel optimistic about oneself. Another positive thing about gaming is that it helps people learn more about cooperation and team work which can improve their social behavior.

Gaming, as said in the above statement, is a good thing. So, why do people cheat? Cheating, for some, is the best way to ruin a game. It can causes arguments and unjustified reasoning with other players. But before judging your fellow gamers, you should first understand why they cheat.
