Over the last few weeks, developer Treyarch’s upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has had multiple testing phases. The company began with a PS4 exclusive alpha back in September, followed by two beta phases this month. The latter of which allowed PC and Xbox players to jump in. And it has now been extended according to a company tweet earlier today. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta was initially due to finish October 19 at 1 PM ET. That’s now been shifted until October 20 at 1 PM ET to allow for a whole extra day of beta action. The additional time will allow the developer to gather more crucial player data ahead of launch, and the beta will now close at the same time the Modern Warfare Halloween event goes live. According to the tweet, the extension was granted as players decoded more Easter egg information about the upcoming game over the weekend.
