Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold, CD Projekt Red confirms

Cyberpunk 2077 Is Getting Another Night City Wire Showcase Next Week (2)Today is the day that finally, after years of development work, CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold. The massive open world RPG was announced way back in 2012, a full three years before The Witcher 3 launched from the same studio. For anyone who doesn’t know, this means the base version of the game is now complete, and ready to be pressed onto discs. Of course, in the modern world, that’s by no means finished. CD Projekt Red will now be working on bug fixes and general polish for a pre-release patch, likely to fix lingering issues.
