You most certainly cannot stop the growth of the Call of Duty franchise. With the continued success of both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as well as its live-service cousin, Call of Duty: Warzone, the community has grown leaps and bounds over the last year. It helps that both Activision as well as developer Infinity Ward have been proactive in supporting the scene. New seasons, content, patches, and bug fixes have come at a constant pace. This is undoubtedly welcomed by the community, however, there is a hefty price to pay. Not entirely in terms of dollars and cents, but more for your storage space. In fact, the first-person shooter will no longer fit a standard 250 GB SSD. It has been a long time coming. Initially, the system requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare pegged storage at a recommended 175 GB of free space. That was already a big load.
