Over the weekend, the big Minecraft event that was Minecraft Live 2020 took place. Not only did fans and players get a new mob in the form of the Glow Squid, but there was also a big announcement about the next big update coming to the game. The new Minecraft Caves and Cliffs update will change up how these areas function in the game, including adding new life and looks to the proceedings. Although we have no set date yet for the update, it will arrive sometime during summer in 2021. The Minecraft Caves and Cliffs update will have plenty to get excited about. Mojang has shared that the generation of caves will see more variety. Instead of just open, hollow holes, there will be more tunnels, caverns, cave lakes, and even waterfalls inside caverns that await. Adventures in the depths of these areas will be more exciting now.
